A Great Airbnb on Korzo in Rijeka City Center
Korzo is the main pedestrianized street that runs through the city center in Rijeka. It’s filled with amazing buildings and is a great place to stay when visiting Rijeka.
When we first arrived in Rijeka, we spent the first 4 nights staying in a fantastic Airbnb apartment near Palach Club. We wanted to stay for another 4 nights but it was already booked, so we moved here instead. It turned out to be a great choice.
Living Room
The apartment was very spacious for a 1-bed Airbnb. We’re used to staying in smaller places, so it was great to have extra space.
The layout of the living room was simple but comfortable. It had a large sofa, huge coffee table and small stool. There was a desk and chair that was ideal for doing some work.
The TV was huge. It’s the biggest TV we’ve ever had. We didn’t use it though, as we were too busy exploring the city. There is so much to do in Rijeka that we could stay a month and not get bored.
There were cupboards under the TV that had a range of booklets about Rijeka – very useful. The room also had aircon.
The Kitchen
We loved the kitchen. It was separated from the living room but still fairly open-plan. It had a big dining table and everything we needed to cook a few meals. It even had a dishwasher.
The above image gives you a better view of the open-plan nature of the apartment. When taking this photo, I was standing just inside the entrance. The bathroom is to my right. Then you have the kitchen, living room, and bedroom at the end. There are three windows along the main wall.
The Bedroom
The bedroom was a simple affair. It had a double bed, large wardrobe and bedside tables. The bedroom window looked out over the main street, Korzo.
Just look at that view. You can’t get a better location than this.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was perfect and everything worked well. There was even a washing machine, which is always good to have when traveling long-term.
Wifi
As you can see above, the wifi was pretty fast. No complaints at all.
The Location
As already mentioned, the location is perfect. There’s not much else to say about it. We were able to walk to all the attractions and were surrounded by cafés and restaurants. Have a read of Things to See and Do in Rijeka for an idea of what’s nearby.
I would definitely stay here again. I can highly recommend it.
