Budapest Airbnb With 430 Mbps Wifi
When we look for apartments to stay at via Airbnb we always try to find one with fast wifi if possible.
We knew the wifi at this one would be fast but didn’t realize how fast. After staying at over 20 Airbnb apartments in Europe over the last 5 months, this apartment wins the prize for the fastest internet. Download speed was 430 Mbps. Amazing.
The Living Room/Bedroom
This was a studio apartment with separate kitchen and bathroom. We usually stay in apartments with a bedroom, but this place was fairly big so suited us perfectly.
As you can see from the photos, the room is laid out very well, with two large windows looking out to the street. There are two sets of windows as well as shutters, so the room is pretty quiet when they’re closed. The shutters darken the room, thus ensuring a good night’s sleep.
The bed was comfortable. There was a small wardrobe and also a desk and chair that you could use to do some work.
The Kitchen
The kitchen was in a separate area just off the hallway. It had a dishwasher and everything we needed for cooking. As we were here for almost two weeks we wanted a place we could cook in.
The kitchen area also had a washing machine. There was an iron, ironing board and clothes hanger in the apartment as well.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was small but beautiful. It looked brand new. The shower worked well and was quite large.

The apartment has central heating which was turned off, as we were there in summer. There was also aircon. The apartment doesn’t get hot though.
Wifi
I already mentioned the fast wifi above. The image above shows the speed test.
The Location
You can’t really get a much better location. It’s set one road back from Gozdu Court where the man action is. There are so many bars, restaurants and cafés in the area that you’re spoilt for choice.
The apartment is only a short walk from Deak Ferenc ter Metro station. It’s also close to Astoria Metro Station. We arrived by train at Budapest Nyugati station, so it was just two stops from there on the Metro.
