Centrally Located Airbnb Apartment in Graz, Austria
After days at our fantastic Airbnb apartment with a piano in Maribor, it was time to move on. We got the train to Graz and then an Uber to our Airbnb apartment there.
It was a 3rd floor apartment without lift. While some people don’t seem to like climbing stays, we don’t mind. For us, it’s free exercise.
Living Room
The living room was much more spacious than we were expecting. We’ve stayed in roof-space apartments in the past and the ceilings have been quite low, but this felt like a normal height ceiling.
The two skylights let in a lot of light so the room was quite bright.
There was an l-shaped sofa in the corner that was comfortable and a dining table with 4 chairs.
The Kitchen
TH kitchen was open-plan and quite large. It had everything we needed, including full-size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and all the usually kitchen paraphernalia.
The Bedroom
The bedroom was a good size. As well as the bed, it had a large double-size wardrobe. It had two skylights, as with the living room.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was up a few steps. It had everything we needed, including a washing machine. Everything worked perfectly.
There was also an iron and ironing board in the apartment.
Wifi
After 5 months of traveling around Europe and staying at around 20 apartments, this was the second-best wifi speed we’ve had. It was very fast.
The Location
The apartment is only around 400 meters from Kunsthaus, one of the main attractions in Graz. All the other main attractions are all within walking distance.
There’s a large Billa supermarket around 100 meters away and quite a few restaurants.
For the location, the price of the apartment is pretty good.
