Great 1-Bed Apartment in Kotor Old Town, Montenegro
We visited Kotor just before Easter, so there weren’t many apartments available in the old town. Luckily, we found a great apartment that was available on both Airbnb and Agoda.
The apartment was around 15 EUR cheaper on Agoda, so we booked there instead of via Airbnb. When booking apartments, it’s worth checking on a few different sites to see which has the cheapest rate. There’s no point to needlessly pay more than you need to.

Above you can see the main entrance to the apartment. Enter through the middle door and walk up one short flight of steps and the apartment is right in front of you. The apartment is at the back of this building, with wonderful mountain views.
Living Room
This is the view of the living room from the front door. The windows look out onto the town and mountains. The views don’t get much better than this.
The living room feels quite spacious. There is a setter, two chairs, and also two high stools at the breakfast bar. The room had an aircon unit, so you can heat the room when it’s cold or cool it when it’s hot.
The Kitchen
There is an open-plan kitchen that is well-equipped. It had everything we needed to cook some of our meals.
The Bedroom
The bedroom was fairly small with a very comfortable bed. There was a window that looked out onto a side street.
There was a large wardrobe that had additional bedding and towels if needed. There was a heater available to heat the bedroom, although we didn’t need to use it.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was small but functional. There was a window to the courtyard outside.
In the hallway outside he bathroom there was plenty of space to hang our coats and jackets and store our shoes.
Wifi
You can see information about the wifi speed above. The wifi worked perfectly the whole time we were at the apartment.
The Location
The location of the apartment is perfect. It’s around 100 meters from the main entrance and close to the cathedral shown above. We could see part of the cathedral from the living room window.
The office where we needed to register and pay our tourist tax was 10 meters from the apartment. It’s essential that you register and pay your tourist tax, as it’s likely to be checked by immigration when you leave the country. You could be fined if you haven’t paid it.
