Great Cafes Around Phrom Phong & Thong Lo BTS Stations in Bangkok
My wife and I head out for coffee every day, and these are our favorite cafés when we’re staying in the Phrom Phong district of Bangkok. This is a great neighborhood that includes EmQuartier and Emporium shopping malls, Benjasiri Park, and numerous restaurants, bars and cafés.
Pacamara
Pacamara is probably the café that I visit most often. The coffee here is great and the location is perfect. It’s on one of the cleanest areas of roads Bangkok and the main road is lined with trees. It has a very relaxing feel

Y’EST WORKS Coffee Bar
I only discovered this coffee bar yesterday and I’m sure it will become one of my favorites. I particularly like the décor. There is a range of seating styles, so is suitable for all types of customers.
It should go without saying that the coffee here is first class.
Y’EST WORKS is very close to BARTELS and almost opposite Pacamara.

Warm Welcome Bakery & Café
All the cafés above are located between Phrom Phong and Thong Lo BTS stations, but Warm Welcome is located the other side of Phrom Phong BTS.
Warm Welcome is small, cute, and cosy neighborhood café that’s popular with locals. It has limited seating inside and some seating outside.
This is probably the friendliest of all the cafés on the list. Warm Welcome is known for its great range of list. It’s also the most reasonably priced.

This is a lovely café, but I don’t get to go there very often as it’s usually away from the main areas I hang out in. If you walk down Sukhumvit Soi 24 from Phrom Phong BTS station and turn right into Soi Methi Niwet, you’ll see it a few buildings along on your right.

Where to stay in Bangkok
If you’re looking for a great hotel in this area that’s reasonably priced, I can recommend St. James Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 26. It’s only a 5-minute walk from both Emporium and EmQuartier food courts.
