How to Get From Kotor to Budva by Bus

After spending 10 days in Kotor, it was time to move on. We decided to head to Budva, which is only around 22 km away. It’s a short bus journey and there are many buses per day.

Kotor bus station is only around 650 meters from the main gate of the old town, so it’s a very easy walk. The good thing about this bus journey was that we didn’t need to book our tickets in advance. You can just turn up on the day and buy your ticket at the station.

You need to be 1 EUR for each piece of large luggage you have. That’s always the case in the Balkan countries.

Our journey was quick and easy. The bus was almost full and passengers that got on at later stops had to stand. I assume the buses will be fuller during high season.
