The apartment is only a 3-5 minute walk into the old town, so the location is perfect. When we first entered the apartment, we were pretty stunned at how beautiful it was. It’s mostly white, with a big window looking out over a garden. This means there’s lots of light during the day.
The living room is small, but well laid out and very comfortable. It has a settee, coffee table, and TV.
Our favorite room was the kitchen. It as a big window overlooking a shared garden and also a door that leads to a small balcony. It was a large fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, and dishwasher. Everything you’re likely to need is also provided.
There was a kettle, toaster and coffee-maker with a few free coffee pods. The cupboards had also sorts of spices, tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, etc. There were more than enough cutlery, pots & pans, and cooking utensils.
The bedroom also had a window that overlooked the garden. A bonus was that the bedroom had shuts, so the room was dark at night, ensuring a good night’s sleep on the comfy bed. There was a built-in wardrobe with plenty of hangers, a chest of drawers, bedside table, an iron, and an ironing board.
We loved the bathroom, especially the shower. It was very powerful and had ample on-demand hot water.
There was a large sink and mirror, with handy drawer space underneath. Shower gel and shampoo were included.
The owners also own the apartment next door and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer that’s shared by the two apartments. No one was staying at the other apartment while we were there. Washing liquid is also provided.
The location
As if all the above wasn’t enough, the location was also perfect. It’s just a 2-3 minute walk from the old town. There’s a small supermarket about 20 meters away which is pretty handy.
The area is packed with cafes.
