Surin Majestic Hotel – The Best Hotel Aircon Ever
That’s title is no exaggeration. I’ve traveled extensively over the years, and this is the best aircon I’ve ever had. When the temperature hits 35C, this is exactly what you need.
Surin Majestic Hotel is very centrally located and only a 2-3 minute walk from the train station. The bus station is 50 meters from the hotel.
This is an old hotel but the rooms have been renovated and the hotel is in great condition. This is probably the best hotel in Surin.

This hotel has 5 floor and all the rooms are a similar large size. They either have an extra large bed, as shown above or two smaller beds. There is a TV, small fridge, kettle, and free tea and coffee. Two bottles of water are provide every days.
The bathroom is fairly small, but everything works well. Free toiletries are provided.
I don’t usually take photos of aircon units, but the aircon at this hotel is so good that I wanted to show the unit. It cools the room down very quickly. Ideal for a good night’s sleep.
The hotel has a great swimming pool and a range of sun beds. I’ve never seen it too busy there, and often you’ll have the pool to yourself. There’s a small café in he hotel that will serve you food and drink at the poolside.
Surin Majestic Hotel Restaurant
Next door to the hotel is the hotel’s restaurant. This is where the buffet breakfast is served. It also serves a large range of Thai and Western foods that can be eaten in the restaurant or in your room. It’s open until around 21:00, although the closing time seems to vary by season.
I’ve eaten there numerous times. The food has always been very good.
Wifi
The wifi worked well for the whole 6 days we stayed at the hotel. There is also wifi available in the lobby and restaurant.
Bike Hire
You can hire bikes at the hotel for 100 baht ($3) a day.
