We Stayed at a Brand New Airbnb in Zadar
Our apartment in Zadar was the 14th Airbnb we’ve stayed at in the last 4 months. Luckily for us, it had just been fully renovated and we were the first people to stay there.
It was a beautiful 2-bed apartment that was around 50 sqm and located in Zadar old town. As you can probably imagine, it was surrounded by numerous great cafés and restaurants and everything was in walking distance.
The Living Room
As you can see above, the living room was fairly minimal with some artwork bring a nice touch of color to the room. This room was fairly quiet, as it faced towards the sea and away from the main town. Even with the windows open, it usually felt very peaceful.
The sofa was comfortable, and the table and 4 chairs would be ideal for a couple or small family.
The TV had Netflix and various other channels, although we didn’t use it.
There was aircon in the room that could either heat or cool the room.
The Kitchen
The kitchen was open-plan. It had oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and all the necessary utensils. Dishwasher tablets were provided.
The Main Bedroom
The main bedroom had a large bed and big wardrobe. There was also an aircon unit in the room that could either heat or cool the room. It was fairly hot when we visited Zadar, so having aircon was a bonus.
The Second Bedroom
The second bedroom had a large bed but no wardrobe. We only used this room to store our luggage. It would be an ideal room for those with small children.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was a good size and well laid out. There was a window that let in natural light. No other properties overlooked the bathroom, so we could have a shower with a view of the outside.
The shower cubicle was a good size and the water pressure was excellent.
There is a cupboard for a washing machine that is due to be fitted soon.
In the hallway there is a large cupboard that has an iron, ironing board, hoover and a few other essentials.
The View
The view from the living room and bedrooms is overlooking a few other houses and a courtyard. It also has a partial sea view.
Wifi
The Location
the location couldn’t been any better. It’s a one-minute walk from the sea and around 10 meters to the nearest cafes and restaurants. For reasonably priced and tasty fast food, I can recommend Balancana, which is at the end of the lane the apartment is on.
The whole of Zadar old town is an easy walk from the apartment.
